On every website you will see some space where they have put up images, videos, news, categories, stats, music player etc. . . . These things called Widgets or Gadgets. The widgets are appointed to a fixed space on your blog or website, and while you change posts or you move between different posts the widgets will appear on same location you assigned it to.
