How to Rank Higher in Bing Local

  • I think I discovered to trick while learning how to rank higher in Bing Local. A friend of mine owns a restaurant in Anaheim and had me see what might be the issue with his less than desirable ranking. What we found out was very surprising. The websites in the local profiles were horrible. One was all Flash and the other was one big ole' image map. None of the top 3 Bing Local listings had "restaurant in anaheim" in the title or on the website. What the websites did have in common, which may be something you can use if you're looking to find out how to rank higher in Bing Local Maps, included 100% overall ratings and citations that contained both "restaurant" and "Anaheim" in the HTML title and profiles.
