Why Image Ads Could Be Google's Next Target

These could be affiliate based, part of a link sharing program or simply to promote your own products or services. But as the recent Panda update has shown, include too many ads on your pages and you will be penalized. However, whether or not image based ads have been affected is the subject of hot debate, especially as many doubt whether the search engines can actually distinguish image based adverts from other non-advert images on a website. Thanks to Microsoft though, that could be about to change.
